8 days NC- He contacted me today, what do i say or do?

Today is day 8 of NC... however he just emailed me a one liner and my stomach fell to the floor. What do i say or do?

This is what he wrote- "you still havent said anything about the list of items. You already ruined the rug, let's try to be respectful of each other and do this the right way please."

 

Basically we own a house together, he chose a co-worker over me so i moved some of my stuff out and he put together a list the day after i left of things I could and couldn't take from the house. I told him that i would get to it over the weekend, basically to stall and not talk with him. I don't want to respond because I am doing so well with the NC not giving in. I thought he would be begging me back by now but then I get this email. What do i write back? or should i keep up the NC? help please!

I want to write back... Are u kidding me? why in the world would I want to be respectful of you when you broke up with ME for a co-worker? Do u think I wanted to break up our engagement??

It's my opinion that unless you REALLY want the items, you just ignore him completely. Don't give in.

 

And if you DO really want the stuff, then I'm seriously advising that you have a FRIEND talk to him FOR you/pick up teh stuff. Don't talk to him.

well i am on the deed of the house too, so he really can't do anything with my stuff without my permission i'm assuming. i think he is worried i am going to take him to court so he is using this dirtying the rug thing against me and looking for a response.

Then this is a no brainer. Ignore him. As I said, if contact needs to be made, have a friend do it.
