Lizzie - I did ask him to wear one initially. He couldnt. and I trusted him. please get beyond this.

Huh.. he couldn't .. come on now.. he couldn't..

You trusted him.. and now you're blaming him for being irresponsible to not wear a condom..

Thanks - I will ALWAYS insist on a condom in the future. Now that I know that I cant always believe what a person says.

The main issue here is that he lied to me.

However, I think honestly I am getting tired of discussing this. lol Which is probably a good thing.

There is a difference between major and minor lies.

I think the issue you need to focus on isn't whether or not he lied to you, but why you chose to have unprotected sex with a man you weren't in an exclusive relationship with.

Honestly, if something happens (STD, pregnancy), that would be just as much your fault as it is his.

C_G - Yes, I'm positive you made a good choice. Not only did he cheat on you (if you assumed it was exclusive), but he lied about it.

The whole condom thing - I think both partners are equally responsible for that, so blaming him solely is a little childish. Where do you think the "No glove, no love" saying came from? I am curious, however - what reason did he give as to why he "couldn't" wear one? He sounds a little gross.
