Has anyone ever continued to dream about their ex after a break up? I keep having the same dream over and over. That he comes into my house while I am sleeping and has sex with me. It's making it hard for me to move on and it's continued for 4 months. I wake up and remind myself it's not reality, just a dream.......

I'd say it wasn't a dream but I have a house alarm and all my windows bolted shut! I don't know if this dream represents me feeling violated, that I miss him, that he left me afraid of him, that I just need to move on, that I'm horny, that it's because he claimed he had sex with me when I slept sometimes(and I sleep perturbinly deep- no pun intended), or what!

Has anyone else had bizarre recurring dreams after a break up? I feel crazy! Lol.....

I've had them the past few weeks. I finally found what actually helps me is a lot of reading. I stick towards action-adventure type things. Nothing deep and heavy just something I can enjoy and get excited about. It seems to keep my brain along those same lines when I sleep. I don't know if it works for everyone but it seems to help me.

The dreams subside over time. I broke down about a week ago and felt terrible all of the sudden. After that it really hasn't bothered me any more. I guess I finally found the light at the end of the tunnel. There is one, just have to keep trying to find it. Sooner or latter you will stumble upon the right path. The path towards the light is not a straight line. There are a lot of loops and turns you do not expect. Just keep moving and you will find it.
