I was thinking about what brings most people to this board and how we relate to the outside world..do you consider yourself more of an introvert or extrovert when dating?

I am more introverted when dating but in general in life I am pretty out going and bubbly and not afraid to ask for what I want.

I'm just annoying ;)

Seriously, massively introverted when younger, but really "friendly" now, in general. Haven't dated in a decade, but I can see the differences in my daily interactions with women. Big difference.

I am an introvert, and basically a loner.

I don't understand what that has to do with being introverted or extroverted.

Introvert. However I'm pretty open in small groups of people I know. Pretty much the definition.

Both I guess. I can hit a switch and turn to one or another depending on the situation. When it comes to dating I'm more of an extrovert.

I'm mostly an introvert. I'm more open around close friends and family.

Introvert, but I have learned to be outgoing and initiating when I need to, and people tell me I come across as totally self-assured.

Being introverted and being shy aren't really the same thing.

Introverts are energized by being alone and tend to feel most "in the zone" when they can reflect and think, while extroverts are energized by being around other people.

I am a recovering introvert. Being introverted has literally destroyed my dating life. Women have no interest at all in quiet guys, unless he is really good looking or has something that draws women to him. I have/am none of those and I've been single my whole freaking life.

Extrovert. Interesting though that many people have claimed themselves to be introverts...for some reason I expected self-proclaimed extroverts from the LSers...

When I am in a social group, I am an extrovert. I am totally comfortable and outgoing in a social setting.

BUT- I spend lots of time alone, by myself and I am pretty happy doing that as well.

I tend to be VERY introverted when I'm first getting to know somebody. Once I trust somebody I open up.

I have no problems with being alone. But I love to be around people. People are far too fascinating to be an introvert lol.

I don't really know about intro- or extrovert, but I am a pervert, if that means anything.

Yeah, that is how I am too.

Introvert...but I can pass as an extrovert in most situations. I do enjoy my "me" time far more than socializing around the clock.

Yes.

I am an introvert, but when I finally muster the energy to get out and socialize, I can be chatty and probably more than a bit of an attention-whore. Not shy.

I'm like SoulSearch. Very introverted. Content to be alone most of the time.

However once I get to know people I open up like a can of worms.

Introvert....I like being alone for the most part. I can be outgoing and need to because of my job, but that really wears me out. I'm not a fan of huge group, I'm more about one on one and groups of 3 or so.

I am an extrovert, and I prefer extroverts (as long as they aren't annoying). :)
