libelula00 Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 ok so i been dating this guy for about a month... we been hanging out an average of twice a week and last week he spent the night at my place. now i am aware our relationship has moved rather fast for my own good... BUT oh well thats just how things have been between us. NOW his birthday is next week, his family is out of town and he doesnt have any plans yet. i havent proposed anything but i was thinking about cooking dinner for him. do you think thats ok? or should i just give him a CD i know he wants? i dont want to give him both because i feel its too much and i mean we have only been dating for a month. so i feel i am in a tough spot. thank you ahead of time for your time and input!!! (please refrain yourselfs from telling i am going too fast and what not ... thats not the type of advise i am looking for, thx)
anne1707 Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 I would opt for the dinner - it's a personal effort that I think would be appreciated. And you are not going too fast if it feels right for both of you
Author libelula00 Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 SaffronBlu: most deff... but i am scared tho lol
SaffronBlu Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Aww don't be! I bet that scary feeling in your tummy is just butterflies hehe. You know what they say a way to a man's <3 is through his tummy!
Trialbyfire Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 If you're going to make him dinner for the first time, make certain you cook foods you're familiar with, unless you're experienced with cooking in general. Why not just do both? If cost is a factor, just get him one CD, wrapped in cellophane with the top splayed out in a bouquet-like arrangement, tied with some curly ribbon, and put on his plate.
