boxing123 Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 My premise is that being in a relationship makes both people better. People operate best in pairs. As humans we are not meant to be alone. So should we have a mindset change that recognizes this? Or think we are only capable of loving one special/rare unique human that we might or might not ever meet. So if you were stranded on an island, and there is one other woman/man around your age, and similar level of attractiveness, would you fall in love after spending time with them? I would say yes. Or would you spend time together and say "Nah, there is no chemistry. We will just be friends." As people we are remarkably all similar. Subtle differences. I think what is more important is simply being at a place in life in which you truly want a relationship, than whom you meet.
OpenBook Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Well, I suppose it would depend on the age of their sperm/eggs.
