The whole reason why I got a car was to help me with this.

I'm thinking what I need to do is find a job in the area that I want to move to, and that's where the car will help me to travel quite a long distance to and from work. And then once I'm settled I can then rent somewhere or get a mortgage in that area.

I'm not sure if I want just any job though, I mean because once I get my own place and I'm having to pay for it, it's not like I could just leave my job and then study at college to get a better career.

So I'm not sure what I want to do, go to college and study to get a decent career that I like, and if so what should I study? Or try and get a job that I like straight off, which I guess may not be possible without studying.

Then again I may be able to claim that I'm going to be made homeless and get a crappy flat and have the rent paid for me since I'm on disability allowence, and then go from there. But like I said it probably wont be a nice place and the area that it's in probably might not that nice either.

All I want to do is get away from the area I'm living in as soon as possible, I'm really not happy here, and move somewhere where I'll feel happy, maybe even where I used to live.

College (or Uni?) sounds like a good idea because you'll kill 2 birds in one stone - move away, and study. Plus you'll have a good support system around you, easy to meet lots of new people etc.

Key is patience though, one step towards that at a time. Iron out the practicalities first, and find something that interests you to study.

Perhaps you could do a year of work while you're figuring out and save up at the same time. That way you won't rush yourself into anything you might not have thought through properly.

By the way whats up with Manc, I thought there was plenty to do up there?

I'm not really sure how I could get a place while at college, because I wouldn't really be earning any money. I always imagined that I'd be getting my own place after college once I got the job.

I'm originally from Manchester but I'm not living there now.

Ive never been to england but I do know how tricky it can be living on a set monthly payment is it significant so as you could have a good base point each month?

And then get a small part time job to offset it? or no? I live on a flat amount also and just got my own place its tough at times but very rewarding in the end if you can learn to budget I'm still learning lol...

Can you apply for the home assistance and get money toward a flat or do they tell you were to move? Maybe take what ever you can get at 1st thu them.

Cause it cant be any worse then were you are now as you don't seam to happy can you get any grants for schooling? Ive found most things in life are do able it just takes allot of perseverance determination and research! best of luck :D

Also one last thought have you ever considered living/studying over seas? the england exchange is excellent last I herd you could prob live well and study plus have a great adventure in the process just an idea to kick around..
