Author Meaplus3 Posted April 7, 2009 Author Posted April 7, 2009 I'm ok today because I did my two mile walk and I listened to this song by my favorite female singer. This song reminds me that's it's gone be alright. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGmjHyD_aPg Mea:)
DJMarky Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 This week has felt slightly better than the first week the whore cheated on me.
Hersheys Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 I'm ok because I plan on ignoring sad thoughts today.
bungeechord_toolong Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 One Art - Elizabeth Bishop The art of losing isn't hard to master; so many things seem filled with the intent to be lost that their loss is no disaster. Lose something every day. Accept the fluster of lost door keys, the hour badly spent. The art of losing isn't hard to master. Then practice losing farther, losing faster: places, and names, and where it was you meant to travel. None of these will bring disaster. I lost my mother's watch. And look! my last, or next-to-last, of three loved houses went. The art of losing isn't hard to master. I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster, some realms I owned, two rivers, a continent. I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster. Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture I love) I shan't have lied. It's evident the art of losing's not too hard to master though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster. P.S. Dedicated to all of you and remember: From brake-heart to brave-heart is just a letter away
Trimmer Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I'm good tonight because my kids are back with me for the rest of the week, and are snug and warm in their beds just down the hall. And I'm also OK because I read this and laughed: I once returned an ex's hoodie with a bag of dog poop in the pocket. I didn't do it on purpose- we had broken up and I had gone on a long walk with my dogs and some friends- bagged up the poop and put it in the pocket! Came home and hung it in the closet and forgot. He picked it up- his mommy washed it for him...and guess what happened.
gutted1 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 im ok today because, the weather is good i had a great swim had a good laugh with friends drove home with the windows open in my car having a sing along got on well with a nice girl Everyday i think about my ex but everyday the hold on me is getting a little bit looser, not much but just a little bit. I realise that people that are worth worrying about are my proper friends and family, people that i know wont ever leave me. Its never a good thing to love, fight for, or long for someone that wouldnt do the same for you. Its also never a good thing to focus on any one thing in life too much. These are things i've realised today and things that have made my day good.
fofiffs Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I'm ok today because I still have a job, I'm in school for nursing, and I joined the gym to get back in shape and tone up..
Author Meaplus3 Posted April 10, 2009 Author Posted April 10, 2009 I'm ok today because... The sun is shining and it looks like a beautiful day. I also just signed up for a meditation class and I'm looking forward to that. Mea:)
fofiffs Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I'm ok today because I'm still alive and breathing. I know I will survive.
Hersheys Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I'm ok today because I got things off my chest last night, had a couple of beers with friends. Being with them reminded me of how normal my life was back then and that I'm still capable of improving my situation, my life.
fofiffs Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I'm ok today because..I went to the gym last night and boy does every part of my body hurt and it feels good knowing i'm getting back in shape.
gutted1 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I'm ok today because i know my ex girlfriend is a disgusting piece of ****e and i know that i'm better off without the parasitic cheating lying tramp in my life.. . . i also know that she is now trying to get at me and this confirms in my mind that she now realises that the grass wasnt greener !!!
RecordProducer Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 That's awesome Sedgwick and something to be VERY proud of! Mea:)Are you a teacher, Mea? Seriously, you have that personality. If you're not, have you ever thought about becoming one? What's your occupation/skills? I feel loved by the people who matter to me. I have two wonderful sons. I am excited about working on my flaws and becoming a better person. I've been sober for a week. I am starting law school this summer, God willing. My parents are doing OK. I am free to up and do whatever I wish at this moment. My beloved and I are not hungry, ill, cold, abused, or imprisoned. I am so very grateful for the life I have.

Once my 4 year old goes to school full day, then I can ponder which direction to go. Right now I'm doing some web design from home. I like your list. You have lot's of things going for you. Mea:)

Mea:)Thanks. We can always focus on the good things. That's a wonderful choice to stay with your kids. I made that choice and didn't work (except for night gigs once a week and working from home). I think my kids have benefitted a lot from having a full-time mom. This August will be my first real engagement (school), but I'll be at home by 5 p.m. and then study at home. Art education would be teaching art? So you ARE a teacher by occupation! Is that correct?

Yes. Focusing on the good things is really the best way. I'm sure your kids have benefitted a great deal:) Correct! I do have some teaching in me but technically, I have not used my degree so it's hard for me to think of myself as an educator of any thing other then cooking ,cleaning, and rasing my little ones these skills I should have a Masters in. Mea;)

An entry position (or even going back to school before that) could get you a well-paid, fulfilling, recession-proof job position, girl.
hopesndreams Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 I'm ok because..... My wounds got ripped opened again and then I made a promise to myself...to NEVER, EVER let it happen again. Piece of scum is leaving me Monday morning, he has tortured me for months, and he bloody well ENJOYED it!!! I am really ok because...... My hot tears have stopped flowing for the time being, I'm exhausted and looking forward to some peace.
Author Meaplus3 Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 I'm ok today because the sun is shining bright. Mea:)

Intricategirl Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I'm ok today because 1) My eating and sleeping is almost back to normal, and I had to actually work at losing weight yesterday, rather than it just disappearing on its own. 2) I deleted an email draft that I had saved because I didn't feel like I needed to say it anymore. 3) I'm not doing NC or reaching out to him. I'm just doing my own thing. 4) I'm going out BY MYSELF for the first time in my entire adult life, and I'm going to see Kung Fu Hamlet, which can't help but be awesome. 5) I have evidence to suspect he tried logging into my email while he was off on a trip with the OW, but didn't know my new password. 6) The stores are open today and I'm going to pick out a new paint color for my bedroom. 7) For the last few days, I've been able to watch a beautiful crane that lives at the lake outside my apartment. And a pre-emptive one- I'm ok tomorrow because I'm going to turn in some job applications and resumes around town. Fingers crossed, I'll have some form of employment within the week.
Author Meaplus3 Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 I'm ok today because I choose to be. While I still have a horrible cold, it's getting better. Mea:)
marlena Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Get better soon, Mea! I am happy today because my daughter and her wonderful guy are here!! And no work!!!
Author Meaplus3 Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 I'm ok today because in just 48 hours my kids will be back to school. I made it through a long spring break. Mea:)
