moodoo Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 ok so my ex and i have been broke up for around a year and a half ago, ive seen her 3 times since the start of 2008 and we havent hooked up since new years 2008 a year a half ago. Overall the last time i saw her was last june. We keep in touch like once or twice a week very briefly like 5-10 minutes. We haven't had any talks of getting back together and as a matter of fact she keeps telling me she has a boyfriend and when i ask her how things are she blows it off completely, basically i dont think she has a boyfriend. So my bday is in 2 weeks and she wants to come bc im having a big party, sh lives 4 hours away and is driving and will be staying at my place probably in my bed. She says were just friends and nothing is going to happen whenever i joke about getting drunk and hooking up. My question is if you havent seen me in a year or slept with me in almost 2 years AND you "have a boyfriend", why are you driving 4 hours to see me and sleep in my bed on my birthday!!! AHH girls are so confusing......for the record im 23 and she's 25....i really do want her back badly, so any tips would be appreciated.
Lucky_One Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 If you want her back, then be strong and set boundaries. She just can't stay with you and sleep with you because she wants to. If you want more, then tell her you want more. But don't accept being used by her as a fun event and a bed to pass out in. have you even told her you want her back?
Author moodoo Posted April 1, 2009 Author Posted April 1, 2009 i mean we were together for almost 2 years, ive told her i want her back many times but she doesnt want me back.....so again why is she wanting to come to my bday!!! I think personally she's just depressed bc she hasnt been able to find a job since she graduated a year and a half ago and shes living at home meanwhile i started my own software company and am doing pretty well. I mean why is she insisting that were not gonna hook up at all when shes driving so long and far and is going to sleep in my bed on my bday....all while "she has a bf"!! Girls cant live with em cant live without em.
