LoXs Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Hi guys, some thought provoking questions that I think some of us here would like opinions on, what are your thoughts? Do you believe that someone can change? I mean if they were to fully admit their actions were wrong and admit they need to change, do you believe people can? Is it more a case of actions speak louder then words? Can you fall back in love with someone, you loved each other once right? Can it be done again? Should it be done again? Is love worth the effort and heart ache? And lastly are we convinced by the answers we give to these questions? Could you really make up with an ex who is your enemy now, someone who hurt you, could they be a lover again? Or do we believe in fairy tales, magic or maybe worse....hope?
Trialbyfire Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I've only ever given someone a second chance, once. Same shyte, different day. Admitting to issues, doesn't guarantee change if they're unwilling to change. Of the "honest" ones, they tend to acknowledge they need to change but won't put the effort into changing. Of the "dishonest" ones, they remain in denial and will never change, regardless of mouthing the words or not.
