Jersey Shortie Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I am sick of hearing about how much women suck and how worthless we are if we don't meet this standard or that. I really think these words steam from these men's own insecurities but thread after thread of it gets really nasty. So this is a thread to say something nice about women. Just one thing that you like that has to go beyond liking that we have T&A. It will be interesting to see who can post here and what they have to say. Because if I don't start seeing some nice things about women I am going to think that most men just want to tear women down rather then trying to build us up.

Jersey.. why do you need people on an anonymous forum to tell you how nice you are.. why don't you start, yourself, to value yourself... If those women's thread bashings are getting to you.. then you need to ignore them... who cares what some mysogynist (sp) idiots think.. you know who you are.. just ignore them.. Honestly.. I don't give a sh*t what others think... all I care is that I'm happy with who I am.. period... Try that..

When others start paying my bills for me, I will pay slight attention to them. From experience, I know that people tear others down to make themselves feel good for the most part. By paying attention to their stuff and responding, I only serve to feed whatever it is they are seeking. Since my mother was a woman and therefore I owe her my life in a substantial way, it's rather hard for me to say anything bad about women.
SpanksTheMonkey Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 There seams to be allot of bashing threads in general going around try being an overweight women and see how them threads can make ya feel if you put to much stock in them I stopped about 10 threads ago now I get a kick out of most of them anymore lol.. I'm going to say something nice about people over all men and women the fact most of us are here on a forum trying to help complete strangers must say something no? most people I think have a decent heart at the end of the day... Hope you feel better Jersey try not to let the negativity of others get to you so much I know its hard at times..

I don't need people on an anonymous forum to validate *me*. I just wanted a thread that was positive for a change about women instead of negative. thought it would be a nice change of pace. Since my mother was a woman and therefore I owe her my life in a substantial way, it's rather hard for me to say anything bad about women. That's a nice change of pace.

The men who put down women tend to be some of the least attractive men out there. I personally knew some, both were obese, balding, and had accomplished very little in life. They were bitter because women had standards that did not include them. They b1tched about how women expect to much from men...like having a job, a car, and their own place.

Reading all the threads about what a women wants in a man, it got me so disillusioned to the dating game, that I just gave up. Now I just met a girl who likes absolutely everything about me, I feel the same way about her, and it is so exciting and awesome. Women are the most complex, intriguing, and exciting creatures man has ever come in contact with, and we just cannot get enough of you.

samspade Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Unfortunately, the women - and men - discussed on these threads engage in sucky behavior (that's why people are asking for advice) so it's easy to start generalizing and trashing one group or another. I'll call a spade a spade, but there is nothing sadder than someone who blames his/her failures on the opposite sex. Fortunately, the women I allow into my life are better than that. They're strong, respectful, and a lot of fun. It's all about what you are willing to permit, and if a disrespectful or immature woman causes someone to hate all women, that's really his fault for not giving her the boot. I won't apologize for having standards, but luckily there are women who meet those standards, and my life is much, much better for knowing them. Because if I don't start seeing some nice things about women I am going to think that most men just want to tear women down rather then trying to build us up. I don't think you should let this cloud your judgment of men any more than men should let a few bad apples cloud their judgment of women. A lot of the men who post here have let their happiness be determined by women, which is a big mistake. So they come here to b*tch and moan about it when they are disappointed. The men who know that their happiness is their own choice probably aren't coming here. They're out living life, and dating quality women.

Who says I'm not a romantic :-D In all seriousness though, I wouldn't worry about the gender bashing that goes back and forth. Other people are hard enough to understand, it's no wonder that we all get frustrated when trying to date one, regardless of sex.

It can be a real challenge trying to understand another human being. It's never cut and dry and we all bring our issues to relationships, no matter the age.

The love of a woman inspires me and makes me a much better person than I could ever be on my own. She is a voice of reason and my compass. Being responsible for more than my own well-being is challenging but also tremendously rewarding. And should I ever get off course, I know that I can rely on her to tell me that I am lost and where I need to go to find my way again. As far as women in general are concerned, I think they are more nurturing, kinder and more compassionate than men. And he thought Kate was physically unattractive! Is there a law now that requires every guy to find Kate Moss attractive?
