It is obvious to me that I have a serious crush on this one girl, and apparently she does not feel the same way back. So now I'm just trying to establish relationship with her as friends, cause it is pointless to continue down this road. However, once in a while I find myself flirting with her, messaging her a lot of facebook, assuming that I was the one who did hurt her when she is down, getting mad when she does not talk to me, and all that jazz. In other words, I've been acting like well I like I still have a crush on her. And apparently, it upsets her and makes her mad.

Can anyone lend me tips on what I should do to break this crush?

you can't turn your feelings off for someone like the flip of a switch. You need to stop having any contact with her if you want to "break the crush".

^^^this plus finding a new girl to direct those feelings towards is about the only way

Yeah I think finding another object of affection is the best way. She might be great but there are lots of great girls out there.

As a double whammy, she might start getting jealous when she finds out you like someone else... But that's a thread for another day.

Finding another girl sounds simple, but not making contact with her is something I cannot do. Because my friends just so happen to be her friends and we go out a lot to places, so I am going to make contact with her regardless. What I am trying to find out is how should I act around her? I don't want to not talk to her and make her feel like I don't like her, then again, I don't want to talk to her and end up making her mad.

Well, then - imagine she's your sister so that any possibility of a sexual relationship is out of your mind. Treat her nicely, but don't flirt with her at all.
