mmk1 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I broke up with my ex in September b/c I felt she was not spending enough time with me. At the time, she said if I broke up, she would never get back together. We had dated for 3 years and broke up/got back together several times over that time period. Two weeks later in September, I changed my mind and asked her to get back together. She said she meant what she said but we could be friends. I foolishly said ok and tried that route, but we had a huge argument at Xmas about her not wanting to get back together and I told her I could not be friends and we went NC. I saw her professionally last week. She seemed excited to see me and then we exchanged 2-3 emails last week and agreed to meet for coffee in a few weeks when she finishes a work project. Two days ago, I called her when I knew she was about to leave work but knew she could not answer. I purposefully did not leave a message to peak her interest. She called me back in about 10 minutes when she left work and we chatted like the best friends we were before we dated. My question is, how do I play this now to rekindle interest in her (assuming that there is interest)? My plan was to wait and let her contact me about coffee or whatever. Any thoughts? She does love my attention and me chasing her.
TrivialPersuit Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 My question is this: Why is it a game? I mean if she loves you why does she do this? You said she likes the attention and you chasing her? Please forgive me for saying this but, she sounds kinda into her own feelings and not really caring too much about you and your own feelings. Do you really want to be with this person? It won't get any better.
