So I met this girl a couple weeks ago and we really had a great time. We met at a house party on the day of the St. Patricks parade in our town so it was an all day thing. For a good 9 hours we spent the whole day with each other and we're pretty inseparable. As the day went on the flirting progressively turned into giving each other little kisses on the cheek, to holding hands and hugging, dancing, talking some more and then we finally kissed at the end of the night for real. She's pulling her head back every so often to pull me back into her, when she says "i had my heart broken recently". So now I'm thinking she likes me but just wants to take it slow. Okay by me. She seemed really into me and told me to give her a call. So I called her a few days later and no answer. I leave a message and she doesn't return my call till 3 days after. We set up a date for Friday and it ends up going really well. I'll tell you a little bit about the date first. We meet up and I'm completely taken away. She looks absolutely gorgeous. I give her a kiss on the cheek and a hug to greet her and we're on our way to the bar for some drinks. Conversation was flowing, chemistry was still there and she's flirting with me through out the night. As we're walking back to her car I put my arm around her. She does the same. It was chilly out that night. She drives me back to my car up the street and I give her a kiss on the lips. Just a little peck. Now I'm thinking the date went really well. When we first met a couple weeks before we we're sort of all over each other and I wanted to show that I respected her by not shoving my tongue down her throat this time ya know. So the next day comes and I send her a text telling her how I met up with my friends in the city and lost my keys. She was late for our date the night before because she forgot her wallet at home and had to turn back. I just felt the need to let her know for some reason I dunno. Anyway, she doesn't respond to the text. No big deal I guess. Then I call her Monday after work to basically let her know that I had a good time and to see if she wanted to do it again some time. She doesn't answer so I leave a message asking her if she's free at all later on in the week. Now it's Wednesday and still no call back. Did I do something wrong? I don't understand. I wanna just forget about it and just say oh well. Except I really liked this girl and really thought she felt the same way. Do I try and contact her one more time or do I just leave it alone?

I would leave it alone. I don't think she is that into you. She had a couple fun times, but she doesn't feel the spark for you that you do for her. Move on.

I'd say wait, just because it took her a while to call you back the first time you set up a date. Don't bother her and see what happens.

I would definitely say dont call again. Remember, she called you back 3 days later last time, which is a luke warm response at best. If she was really interested, she would have made time to call back sooner. She also didnt respond to your text, which doesnt speak well for her interest, either.

She could be still dealing with her broken heart, and unfortunately, you couldve just met her at the wrong time. I tend to think that shes not really interested, but felt compelled to go out and have fun with someone else.

On top of that, most everyone runs into people like this from time to time, and none of us know what the deal is. Sometimes, people just seem to change their mind in an instant. Who knows.

Leave well enough alone. There is no need to call again, and you probably shouldnt hold your breath on waiting to hear back.

Sorry man, thats just dating sometimes.
