I'm 17 years old... I have been dating this girl for 20 months now! I know I'm young and in high school, but I honestly feel like she's the one. I have been in plenty of relationships and I had always been the short term/player kind of guy. When I got with this one, I wasn't expecting to fall in love. I wasn't expecting to fall in love until college or after. But I did... I am!!! We both have felt very strongly over these last 2 years. We always tell each other how we are in love and want to spend our lives with each other. We have always had the best, most fun, most healthy relationship. Lately, she has been acting kinda weird, though. We talked about it, and I realized that she doesn't love me like she used to. It has died down a bit. I don't really understand. I am the best boyfriend to her. I am so sweet to her! Every time we see one of her girlfriends, they tell her how lucky she is to have a guy that treats her like I do. I don't get how after 2 years, her love for me can just die. It makes no sense to me. We pretty much decided that this is not good and that we are going to try and fix it. I want to fix it because I feel like it can be fixed... And she says she wants to fix it to. I feel like she's the one for me and that she loves me just as much as she did when we first fell in love, so she will realize it was just a little bump in the road. But I'm scared that this might be permanent. I don't want to lose her. I just want everything to get back to normal and us have that amazing relationship that we used to have. Is that possible at this stage? Or is it too late... I don't want to lose her... And I'm scared that might happen :(

Maybe your girlfriend has come to take you for granted?? I have found that when women know you will be there for them they kinda lose interest. Please don't come across as needy as women hate this!! Give her some time out and appear to be strong and kinda indifferent, then she may re-think her position :) There is an old saying treat em mean/keep em keen. I have never done that, that is why I get dumped, oh well.

I think you're exactly right! I just needed someone to tell me haha... thank you so much! she actually told me the other day that I need to be more independent. She said I depend on her too much and say that I can't live without her, when I really can. Thanks again and I will definitely start doing that
