Aerorobyn Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Sorry for so many posts, I'm new to this. Never been in THIS serious of a relationship to have it just end like that! As you may know--he broke up with me. A bit over a week ago. I made mistakes the first few days after the break up (begging and pleading). Anyways, now I'm NC. But...he called me two hours ago. I did not answer in anyway. Should this call be returned since he called me first? The way I'm feeling right now....I'm feeling strong. As though, when/if I do see/talk to him, I will do no begging or pleading. I will simply see what he wanted, and then tell him I can't talk right now I've got other things to do (I really do).
Fantastic1987 Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 hey hun you are feeling strong because he made an effort to contact you i really hope its to get back together. if not, then remain in complete NC thats good you didnt answer it right away too see what he wants and be SOOO NICE. you always want the last reminder of you to him to be a great one.

Unfortunately, it was not to get back together. The convo was pretty much: *Ringing* -Him: Hello -Me: Hey, you called? -Him: Yeah I called a little bit ago...just wanted to see what you were up to -Me: I'm just busy right now trying to get these things finished up for class tomorrow -Him: Oh yeah...I think I may get up early and go work out at the gym before classes -Me: Well that's good, I hope you do. -Him: Yeah, well...how was your day -Me: Pretty good. Great actually. Went out for a bit, accomplished a lot on my assignments. -Him: Thats good. My day was good...worked outside for a bit and studied. -Me: Oh, thats cool. *brief silence* -Me: Well hey, I've gotta get going...got some things I have to finish up, so I'll see you in lab tomorrow. That was pretty much it. Except the "bye" at the end. Looks like a lot, but my call timer showed it as only being about 2 minutes long. And yeah, I've got lab with him every Monday--I have to face it. We're in college, and the can't switch people/labs around. Luckily, there are only three labs left...
