shadowsfall Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 So I setup a study date with a girl who has been paying me a lot of attention in one of my classes for about 2 months now. She's intelligent, driven, great personality and very attractive. We studied for about 3 hours today at starbucks and spent a lot of that time off on other subjects trying to get to know eachother better. After we were done we spent another hour just talking about random things. When we finally said goodbye I gave her a hug and we went our seperate ways. So now I'm feeling a little down that I didn't make a move even though we were in a pretty crowded Starbucks parking lot. I understand that there are wrong times to make a move and this would probably qualify. However, I keep kicking myself for not following her to her car and maybe trying to go for one there. I feel like we've been talking for a while now, and even though this is the first time we've hung out outside of school, I was hoping for more. I'm trying my best to stay out of the friends zone but I feel like time is running out. Everytime we walk to our cars after class I feel like I should be making a move at some point. Anyway she asked me to teach her how to play guitar sometime so maybe that occasion will arouse a more appropriate setting where I can go for it. What do you guys think?

I would find it a little strange for a guy to make a move on me after class or even after that study date (given the surroundings). But definitely on the date, I'd go in for the kiss, or you very well will be friend-zoned.
samiam143 Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Yep date. Just to make sure you're both interested. Once she says yes and you go on date(s) then worry about making a move. And guys guys GUYS, don't stress so much about making a move. If it feels right, then do it.
