Not the love ace Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Okay, Well, my ex got in touch with me but I am going to go back to NC. We sent some E-mails to each other, and spoke. She has another boyfriend whom she known for only a few weeks and she says she really is in love with this guy and might get engaged soon, and he really cares about her and whatnot, blah, blah, blah. However, when asked how she feels about me, she told me she loves me to pieces, and that I was the best boyfriend she had, and that she'll always love me. She told me she was tired of us being on and off (because I suspected her of fooling around on me, and to an extent I was right because a week and a half later she had a new boyfriend whom I suspected before this new boyfriend of hers) and wanted someone who is serious and is looking for someone who she can have a future with. Is it possible to want to have a future for with someone who is willing to be serious and settle down, but still love someone else who you enjoyed the most? (In her case). If she still loves me, and enjoys me more, why not just be with me? Or is she just saying that to toot my horn? I get the sense she's probably just saying that to make me feel better, and won't have to be to hurt by the fact that she has a new boyfriend and I'm trying to get over her. I think she is just saying nice things to me and I shouldn't read too much into it. What are your thoughts.

It's her current mindset - she wishes the best for everyone. I do agree, but what keeps me thinking she might be serious is that she has a tattoo of my name on her body. I know a tattoo doesn't always mean everything, but she says she still cares and have my name on her body, it might have some meaning to it. I still won't try and look into that much.
