Brady_to_Moss Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 As in girls 17-25. In todays society it seem that most...not all but most are so influenced by the media, they need a guy who is a looker, who has money or even just attach themselves to material things. Going out with a guy just becasue he has a nice car ect. I am a guy and most girls think guys are shallow and most of us are.
carhill Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 IMO, no more so than the similar aged women throughout my lifetime. For that matter, the men too. It's part of the growing up process. Some do better than others

samsungxoxo Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 No not all are like that. It really depends on how they were raised and their different personalities. Everyone is different from one another.

Women who are mature want a man for who he is, not what he has.
samsungxoxo Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 LOL, actually my first boyfriend was one that would only buy things for himself and he was very cheat to the point would often say how he lost his work money just to only hang on my house. And I was damn quiet the whole time. So cheap that he didn't even call me on my birthday nor Christmas when were still talking while in our long distance, I mean come on, what kind of moron would not even bother buying a $2 calling card. It's not that expensive. I don't really ask that much but please if you're only gonna get me something that only cost $1 or cents don't even bother, yea that's how he was.
boxing123 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Trust me, it gets worse as they get older..They don't turn 30 then say "Money doesn't matter! I want love!"
era Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I've had conversations (like at work) with girls in that age bracket...I'm a female who is older. I just shrug it off to the generation gap, age barrier...but yes, they seem shallow. Everything is about looking "hot" or getting a guy who looks "hot". Lots of media influence, and strong desires to match impossible Hollywood standards. But I also believe it's something they will outgrow.
