monkey00 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 So having gone on 2 amazing dates with this girl...she's busy for the next few days with her college work. Though I said I was going to call her on the weekend. It's not the weekend yet, but I was thinking of her and just sent a simple text asking how her day was going. No response. Is she playing hard to get?..because I texted instead of calling? She's busy so I don't want to intrude. Now I'm just overanalyzing stuff here. Our second date went pretty well, but it could have been better I'm sure. I regret not doing some of those things. But I know she's been sick the past couple of days based on her blog. I just feel miserable now because I haven't seen or spoken to her since our last date. If I don't hear from her EOD, should I just call or call another day where she might be less preoccupied?

Author monkey00 Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 Yeah, I texted her in the past, she gets them. I have a gut feeling she wanted me to walk her back to her place after the second date, but I didn't. We live in the same neighborhood. Did she feel rejected or something?

A text message is easy to read, get caught up in something and forget about God knows, I do that all the time I would give it till this weekend... say.... right about now! Tell her you had a really awesome time and ask her out again. Make her feel desired and take it from there.

I had called her actually after I got home and left a brief but good VM (she didn't pick up, and she has yet to call back). You're right though to give it until Monday, because I know she's busy this weekend. There's really no point in putting more pressure on her if she doesn't call me back..she'll contact me when she's ready. She also mentioned she wants to take things slow, it's so broad I don't know what it means. My idea of slow is probably different from hers.
