Donz Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Hey so most men are very bad at reading a womens body language while women are naturally good at it. This has been bugging me for some time now so I need to ask. I met this girl on vacation and we were hanging out a fair bit. One night she sat down on a couch and patted the spot right next to her, so I sat their. Does that mean anything? Inviting someone into your personal space. Her parents were around the area so I didn't want to try and make a move. Should I of put my hand on her leg or something to show my interest since she did that or just sitting beside her is ok?
samspade Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 It doesn't necessarily mean anything more than "sit down here." But yes, you should escalate the intimacy by touching her occasionally and in appropriate places. See if she reciprocates.
bigmanpayne Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 you shouldn't think so much about the small stuff. you probably didn't need to "make your move" at that time anyway. just be cool and you will always be okay.
BLo Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 if you are sitting next to her, you should make physical contact a little bit, even for a few seconds by putting your hand on her leg. i sit next to my guy friends. i have some kind of low level physical contact when sitting with guys who are interested in me. follow samspade's advice and keep it appropriate.
