Nebo74 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Image your pain, your divorce as a white ball of healing light. That's right, the pain itself is a while ball of healing light. I don't think so. This is my life, good the last drop. It doesn't get any better then this. THIS IS MY LIFE AND IT'S ENDING ONE MOMENT AT A TIME. Where we are now, you can't even pretend to understand what the bottom will feel like. It's only after you lose everything, that you are free to do anything. We are all part of the same song and dance that fluttered on butterfly wings since the time of the cave mans first hair cut. You have to realize that someday you will die, and until you do, you are useless. Never be complete. Never be content. Throw those chips on your shoulder in the air and let them fall where they may. Nothing is static. Everything is revolving. Even the Mona Lisa is falling apart. We are all on that fluffy cloud thinking forever-ever land is given to us. That true love is gifted in a sweet smelling pretty package, delivered on-time, postage paid by a smiling delivery driver wrapped in small brown shorts. Wake up! We are not special snowflakes. We are the pile of snow pushed by city trucks at the end of the street, heaped in a massive frozen hill with no purpose or place. I have given up. This is MY life and it's ending one minute at a time
2sure Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Nebo - What you said has been said a million different ways. And its all true. But you can view it differently. He is not busy being born is busy dying , I think Bob Dylan said that somewhere. Either way, even you described it well when you said life is not static, always revolving. Your life isnt ending, just changing.
TrustInYourself Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 That was an interesting flick. Bob freaked me out a bit. Go meatloaf.
RecordProducer Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 We have the need to serach, to laugh, to improve, to fight, to explore, to love, and live as though we'll live forever, just like we need to eat, breathe or reproduce. We are in the hands of mother nature who is playing with us. We can't beat her. We can only be who we are. What I am saying is: no spiritual/existential/pragmatic/transcendental/______ (insert you choice of philosophy) will make you become what you are not. You're not a hamster and you're not a god. You're a human being.
