fral945 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I’m just curious. I’ve been called cute by women before, but in the last few years I’ve gotten a few more “handsome” compliments from the women I’ve dated and been involved with. I assume it’s an age related thing, because this never happened in my late teens/early 20s. Maybe it’s the furrowed brow I’m beginning to develop? What is the difference (if there is there any difference)?
JamesM Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 What is the difference (if there is there any difference)? "You're cute" means "Some woman will find you a good husband one day." "You're handsome" means "I want your for my husband one day...soon."
Lizzie60 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 On a scale from 1 to 10 Average: 3-4 (70% of male population) Cute: 5-6 (20% of male population) Handsome: 7-8 (9 %) Knock-out: 9-10 (1%)
Author fral945 Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 "You're cute" means "Some woman will find you a good husband one day." "You're handsome" means "I want your for my husband one day...soon." I have to admit that's the impression I get. On a scale from 1 to 10 Average: 3-4 (70% of male population) Cute: 5-6 (20% of male population) Handsome: 7-8 (9 %) Knock-out: 9-10 (1%) So I'm moving up in the world.
Star Gazer Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 "You're cute" means "Some woman will find you a good husband one day." "You're handsome" means "I want your for my husband one day...soon." That's a great description. I've gone from "cute" to "pretty" and the like as well. I wonder if there's a similar correlation?

What is the difference (if there is there any difference)? Have you started dressing better? Or doing better at work or in life? Confidence and grooming improve men's looks a lot. Or maybe you are one of those guys who looks better with a bit of age. Not all women prefer the boyish look.
Chat Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Apparently - here in France it is better to be cute than beautiful - apparently beauty fades but being cute lasts - so i will take cute over beauitful any day - and when I think about all the cute little old ladies I have ever known - I have a bright future there
