Waitress Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I know it's different for everyone, but when do you guys ask a woman to be your girlfriend? Is there a timing thing or a relationship milestone that compels you or is it just different each time? Thanks.
Enema Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Does anyone outside of school still ask a question like that? Seems terribly juvenile. You might have a discussion about the relationship and set some boundaries / exclusivity talk. But, "Will you be my girlfriend?" come on.
Author Waitress Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 I don't think it's juvenile and I don't think it's any different than setting boundaries. Different people have different ways of approaching this type of thing. And some do just ask. It's one way of clarifying things. You might have a different way but saying it's a juvenile question seems kind of inappropriate.

If you're at the point where she'll become a gf, then you'll probably know if she'd consider seeing someone else at the same time.
