monkey00 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I have dark black hair and I'm most attracted to women that are the same. I just find dark hair on a woman more alluring, classy, and mysterious all in a nice package. Though second, I love brunettes, reds and blonds also..blond not so much.
Stockalone Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 What color is your hair? and What color do you find the most attractive on the opposite sex? I have dark hair. Preference: I don't have one.
Isolde Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I understand having a preference.. I do, But what is with ladies finding blondes entirely unattractive? As I said I actually have a preference for light colored hair in men, but a slightly quirky personality is far more important to me than hair color.
stepka Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Well I've always gravitated towards men with red hair--married a dark haired man and now I tend to look more at men with gray hair:p
shadowplay Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Most of the guys I dated said I was the one of the only blonde girls they'd ever liked. I was shocked by how they stereotyped blondes. They said that brunettes seemed more intelligent and interesting. It's one thing to have a visual preference for a certain hair color, but to actually think it says something about personality is a load of bull. Seems like there are fewer and fewer men who like blondes these days.
Lizzie60 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 It's funny but most of the guys I've dated said I was the one of the only blonde girls they'd liked. Before me they preferred brunettes, but they usually became more open-minded to blondes after we dated. I was shocked by how they stereotyped blondes. They said that brunettes seemed more intelligent or interesting. It's one thing to have a visual preference for a certain hair color, but to actually think it says something about personality is a load of bull. Maybe it's all the bottle blondes that gave the hair color a bad rap. Seems like there are fewer and fewer men who like blondes these days. I think it's all about the 'dumb blonds' jokes... and the blond bimbo with fake boobs.. it seem that we only hear jokes about blonds.. there must be some truth..
kashmir Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 This thread gives me a bit of relief. I always figured blonde hair/blue eye guys always trumped the darker guys, as though they're the superior breed. I have very brown eyes and very brown hair, and I'm equally attracted to blondes, brunettes, and some redheads. They all have different yet equal forms of beauty in my eyes.
Ariadne Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 I've been very attracted to both, but I have a history of a preference for blonde. (I have brown hair)
shadowplay Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 I got this quote from another forum and I wonder if there's some truth behind it: A lot of men are intimidated by the "hot blonde" because they believe that there is no way this woman is alone, and that they don't have a chance. If a blonde came on to me, that's a different story. Brunettes are very sexy and appeal more to men because they perceive them to be more approachable. I still can't believe people stereotype like this, but whatever...
