Ok so I went out with this guy on a first date which was really good, everything seemed to go along great and he was interested in meeting up again and doing something. we talked on the phone a bit after the date to organise a second date. He text me the night before saying he was looking forward to seeing me and everything and then I sent him a text on the day saying are we all alright for meeting still (it was quite early on in the day). I heard nothing then he text me an hour before the date saying he was really sorry but due to unforseen circumstances he wasnt able to make it, and was really annoyed he couldnt see me.

I then phoned the next day to see if everything was alright and we had a good chat (but nothing was said of anything from the night before, he just said sorry but offered no explanation) and he said we should meet up again but he's really busy the next couple of weeks so prob will have to wait till after then to go out. Im so confused, is he basically just blowing me off even though he says he does want to see me he's just really busy. But I always thought if you really like someone surely you can make time for that person....or is that just me?

Sometimes it's you, sometimes it isn't...and sometimes things legitamately come up. i was in a similar situation with this guy. We went out twice so far. Both dates were great but before our second date he canceled/rescheduled 3 times. I asked him what the deal was and he told me what happened (all legitamate- one was weather related- we had a blizzard, so that was fine). Point being, as much as it may frustrate and piss you off, you don't want to come off crazy, or impatient or angry or anything like that. Play it cool, act like it doesn't bother you & make other plans. Wait a bit and see if he re-schedules/reaches out to you. If not, nothing wrong with you sending a quick text saying "did u still want to together?" If he says yes, then you know the reason he canceled was legit and not anything to do with him not liking you. These kinds of things happen alot. The world isn't a perfect world but you want to show him you can handle a last minute change or cancelation or whatever. Flexability & understanding can go a long way.

Sometimes time cannot be made- it doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't like you.

He is also dating someone else :).. you just fell into his queue on the wrong day and he had to cancel...

When I was single I personally wouldn't continue to pursue something with someone that makes and cancels dates with no explanation unless a family death was involved :)

He's blowing you off. I've had women do the same thing. It would be nice if people would be more direct, but most people aren't.
