redant Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I have been dating my bf for 31/2 months. I love being with him. It's just that I don't feel the longing I have felt before. I don't need him to call me every day. From my past relationship I realized love to me is not just romance and falling head over heels, because it certainly did not work. Should i feel butterflies? Maybe if he was more complicated and distant I would long more or feel more anxious but I would rather not. It's just that we didn't have a strong honeymoon stage. I think because I didn't want to. Anyone else have this experience?

If you love being with him, what are you whining about? Focus on what you have and enjoy and not what you dont, or in this case, can't even explain.
Beautiful Inside Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 it sounds like you enjoy his company but your not lusting him theres no passion am i right? like you dont get all excited when you see him calling or texting you.... see i think to me that you just aren't feeling him that much cause ive felt that way but then ive also had the butterflies even now with the person ive been with for 2 yrs already i still get all excited when he calls and we practically live together!
