Im brand new on this site and I have loved reading some of the posts.

I met the love of my life last July in Branson MO. I was from Oklahoma ( I have since moved to Kansas) at the time and she is from Oregon. She was on vacation with her wonderful mother and I happened to be in town for a job interview and was having lunch at the Olive Garden there and saw her walk in. She was so beautiful and I had to at least talk to her. This is so out of the box for me but I did it and God Im glad I did.

We visited for awhile and I had to leave to get back and she had shows to go to but we exchanged numbers and email addresses. We started texting and talking on the phone, exchanging some emails and we started developing feelings for each other and eventually fell deeply in love.

In October, I visited her in Portland and we had such a blast. We never felt awkward or uncomfortable at all. We drove around for hours and even went to the ocean (which I have never been to). Not once did the radio have to come on because there was not a second of dead air between us. We both loved being around each other so much and still do. I never see that changing. We knew after this meeting that it validated all of the feelings that we had for one another.

In January, I made another trip but this time to Medford and got to meet her awesome mother and some of her close friends. We hit it off immediately.

Next week, my beautiful sweet baby will be visiting me here and we will be making a trip to Oklahoma to visit some of my family and closest friends and she will be returning in July for a week.

Everyday we are in constant contact by texting and phone calls. We plan our calls during the free nights and weekends but we also spend every lunch hour on the phone. We know what we are doing virtually every minute of each day.

We have had absolutely no problem in this LDR and always laugh when people say that LDR's cannot and do not work. We have actually found it rather easy and I gotta believe its the constant communication, total trust between us, respect for each others everyday and social life, along with a deep love for each other that has made this so easy. I have to admit that it is tough not being able to hold her everyday but we plan to change that come September or October when I move there to be with her forever. We have even talked about marriage but that is a little down the road but still, I love it.

Stay with me here and I know my posts will get better. Hopefully sooner than later. Take care and I really wish everybody the same happiness that I have found.

Sounds good! I think you're doing one important thing, which is planning to move in by a certain deadline. I can tell you that it really sucks if you have a great LDR and don't resolve the distance eventually.

I agree. Its vital to our LDR at least. She just went back to Oregon after simply an awesome weekend here in Kansas and Oklahoma.

She is coming back for a week in July and that should be about it for visits then its all focused on me getting there anytime after that.

God, I cant wait.
