If your SO's family hasn't liked you or vice versa, how have you overcome this or have you? What are your reasons for not liking them or their reasons for not liking you?

It used to bother me but, as I age and gain wisdom with this age I realize it's not something to be upset over anymore. I realize the type of person she is, that it's her personality, and their is nothing I or anyone can do to change her. This isn't saying she is a horrible person or anything. Just saying she likes to be number one and have the attention (spotlight) upon her. I simply don't go around her, talk to her, and avoid her as much as I can. She also over steps boundaries with inquiries of financial or other personal situations that shouldn't even be of a great concern for her.
