gopher Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I was driving to get my kids for the weekend tonight and while at a stop light I noticed the car behind me. In it, were a 50ish mom and a teen boy, maybe 14 or so. Anyway, he started playing with her hair, like it was just natural thing to do...After a bit he stopped and his mother never acted like it bothered her. But I got those shivers that you only get when you see something that totally grosses you out... But, maybe it's a normal mother/son interaction...
Lucky_One Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Um, my 14 year old son plays with my hair. And I play with his. And we give each other back scratches. OMG we even kiss good-night, and sometimes we even HUG. Should I seek counseling?????
sb129 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Yes I think you should. Forthwith. I am 31 and have been known to touch my parents heads. Doomed I tell you, I am doomed.
I'm Joe Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Is there something about hair that grosses you out?
Author gopher Posted March 14, 2009 Author Posted March 14, 2009 Nothing but hair in general, but it as how he played with it...it seem weird to me....but from the sounds of it, it's perfectly normal.

sb129 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I think you're right. What you describe doesn't sound that weird, but then we didn't see it ourselves.
