So what are people's opinions on a first date kiss? I have a first date tomorrow night with someone before we both part ways to our respective universities for about a month and half and probably won't see each other in that time. Now, believe me, I don't have any expectations of things going well and us even wanting to see each other after tonight. I'm just wondering if I'm automatically doomed if things seem to go well and I don't go in for a kiss.

You're almost always better off going for the kiss.

Yeah, get the kiss. It'll be a victory for you if you do it, otherwise just a sloppy casual date.

The first kiss is kinda tricky especially since eveyone has thier own idea about it. IMO if you really click and there is obvious chemistry go for it! It doesnt have to be a make out session but a nice soft kiss will keep her thinking about you for hours  and it will also confirm that you like her. I know some women that will obsess over this after a date, saying they thought they had a great date but no kiss... I personally don't mind it at all if we're both into each other.

It depends. It sounds like someone you actually already know ... if so, then sure, go for that kiss before you part ways for over a month. If it's a perfect stranger, then I'd be more inclined to say no, or at least only if it feels right.

We just met and have hung out with friends as a group for a few nights, so I wouldn't say I know her very well.
