Luscis Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I have a new coworker that has gotten the idea that waving and saying bye means that I like her. I'm a general polite southerner, I had no intentions of leading her on. I'm a big believer in no office dating. She is constantly hinting around about going out sometime and some of her office girlfriends had started asking questions recently about my dating life. So, couple days ago she waved to me I waved back but I intentionally avoided eye contact, now she totally avoids me; I think I hurt her feelings, feel like such a jerk. How can I better handle a similiar situation in the future? I guess I chickened out by just not coming out and telling her I don't date coworkers.
