Happy to see the wax pot leave the house :D

My experience has been that women who like you like you. I've found lack of scalp hair to be more an issue with women than presence (or not) of facial hair.

Lack of scalp hair has never been an issue for me.:)

Of course. You're young and not a woman :D

Tell me, were you in your teens or 20's when you started losing it?....the hair I mean. It's never been an issue for me either, but, like with facial hair, women have a different perspective.

Different kinds of facial hair looks good on different guys. Some look good with scruff, some look good with goatees. Those are pretty much the only two kinds of facial hair I like, but again, they only look good on some guys. There's no hard and fast rule. But I'm dead-set against ungroomed facial hair of any kind. Meaning it looks like it's growing wild. I'm not really into thick beards and I hate mustaches of pretty much any kind.

does it matter that much... really?

I keep my soul patch, and will grow out scruff all the time, if a girl can't handle a bit of facial hair they can't handle the bliss i would be able to give them anyways lol

What is a "soul patch," though?

The last girl told me before we even started dating that she did not like facial hair at all. About 2 weeks after we were dating, her views had taken a 180. :) She loved touching my beard, and I'm sure it had some...uh, other...benefits. ;)

I keep it relatively short, and pretty cleanly cut.

I like it. It works for some guys, not so much for others. As long as it's well groomed.

Real men love a bit of pubic hair, whether it's a bit of a landing strip, a lightning bolt, tuft, etc. Men who want women's pussies to be totally smooth are the same kind that want them to dress up in schoolgirl outfits and pigtails. They might as well become pedophiles.

See, but I wouldn't mind pubic hair.

Maybe it's just the younger generation of girls, but they want guys to be as hairless as possible. No facial hair, buzzed or very short head hair, and no hair on the rest of their bodies. You can call it their preference, but it still pisses me off. Men are supposed to have hair instead of being smooth hairless waxing douches.

I am 32, and I have never been a fan of facial hair, but I love a full head of bedhead hair for me to play with. I am always sad when my guy cuts his hair short. As for body hair, I have been with hairier guys and almost hairless guys. I prefer less hairy, as then I can feel his skin and sexy muscles better, but I would never pressure him into waxing his body or whatever nonsense. This is merely personal preference.

I started losing my hair in high school, so probably about 15 or 16. You think kids can be mean to fat people, try balding in high school.

Just a general question.

Do you women like facial hair and if so what kind.

EWWWWWWWWW I hate beards with moustache.. or moustache alone..

I also hate beards with no moustache..

The only thing I don't mind.. is a nice kept goatie... but I prefer clean shaven...

I love facial hair on my man! He looks so sexy and masculine when he doesn't shave.

Then again, I love it when he shaves too. For obvious reasons. :)

I totally agree with SoulSearch I think it depends on the guy and his facial features.

Although when I do find a man with facial hair attractive, they are usually sexy as hell! ;)

My father always told me that men who have facial hair have something to hide.

I do not like any kind of beard or mustache.

The worst, IMO, is the soul patch. (like Howie Mandel - http://www.phillymag.com/blogs/philly_events/wp-content/uploads/howiemandel.jpg).

Yuck.

Ew. Yes, I agree. Looks like something crawled on his face and died. I feel the same way about goatees.

And I agree with the "something to hide" sentiment. I want to see your FACE, uncovered.

Soul patches are awesome!! See the problem with that picture... is he's bald. You can't pull that off if its the ONLY hair you have visible, likewise, if you got long hair you can't either. But I guess we all have different tastes, even with my tattoo I get varied responses, but apparently i keep running into the same kind of women because its not much of a deterrent!

Again, if you put so much focus on facial hair (because its something EASILY fixed in about 5 min and some of your input) then your pretty much doomed to be single forever, have a hairless wonder, or a nice little man you can pull around on a leash :).

Yeah, I guess that's what I'm trying to say (I'm a bad communicator, heh). I don't see the point of not giving a guy a chance because he does/doesn't have facial hair, as he can easily change it. I usually mess around with my facial hair. I didn't shave from October until mid-January. Now me and a few other guys are sporting awesome village people-esque mustaches in celebration of Mustache March.

I think the No Moustache rule should apply to all men, except Magnum P.I. He could give me a pash rash anytime.

LOL, Your my hero man! I couldn't grow out a mustache personally... it would make me look to much like a sex offender lol

Hey, if you have a pedo smile you're already there.

Some women like it, some women don't. That's the basics of it.

I like my guy clean cut but there's a tradition going on at my guys work this month so he grew out a stach. I HATE it. lol But it's only a month and he's still adorable.

I always wonder what might have dropped during the requisite three meals a day that could be festering in that big doormat of a beard.

lmao this is SO true

I never said I wouldn't consider a guy with facial hair, just that I prefer clean-shaven. And the only reason I'm focused on it here is because it's the thread topic.

My second serious boyfriend had facial hair when we met. After a few weeks of dating, he asked me what I thought of his facial hair, and facial hair in general. I was gentle, tactful, and diplomatic in expressing my preferences. I told him the simple truth: I thought he had a very handsome face and I'd prefer to see more of it. I never asked him to shave, just answered his question. The next time I saw him, he was clean-shaven, and he stayed that way as long as we were together.
