Author ragnar411 Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 Forget the line in the sand he should not be taking care of a bastard child that is not HIS!!! What man in his right mind would take a woman back like this! trust the OM will always be around in the case of child support and financial obligation to his child and the wife will always be pining for the OM in one way or another. Divorce is the best alternative this guy has let the OM take care of her. She's easy to pipe down , so let her be easy to wife down! I went to a lawyer yesterday she's being served today. So this shouldn't be to tough to deal with thank you all for the advice. You are right I do need to man up and kick her a** out.

mark982 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 well-- since she says "she loves him", she can go live with him.good job on manning up.

You are right I do need to man up and kick her a** out. OMFG!!! thank you!!! A man who listens to rational solid logic and advice! The best thing to do is to take your kid and leave. have physical custody fight for it, and dont pay her any child support or alimony. Be happy your whole life is open ahead of you! Congradulations. The only person I feel sorry for is that baby she's having. I would not be happy if I had been born into those circumstances. none at all. and trust that kid is gonna have issues. Have do you explain to your son that he has a sibiling but your not the father? WTF? You know how heart wrenching and confusing that is?
bentnotbroken Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I went to a lawyer yesterday she's being served today. So this shouldn't be to tough to deal with thank you all for the advice. You are right I do need to man up and kick her a** out. I have a problem with this. I don't know the state you live in, but in most states it takes at least a week to get papers drawn up and a judge to sign for them, and a process server to get the job and take care of it. And I think a week is liberal. Something is funky here.
Reggie Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 No need for a judge to sign them. This is not an entry of judgement, just the initiation of a lawsuit. Service can be accomplished quickly. Just have to find her and hand her the papers.

Just have to find her and hand her the papers. Like I said, I don't know about his state, but that's not what happens here. A judge is required to see all paper work and the filing parent to go to parenting class before the papers are signed. Something is still off, I am not sure what, put my radar is beeping.
tami-chan Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 as the "better" person and now an enlightened man, i expect you to fight for custody of your soon to be 3 year old daughter, right?

I'm sure it varies from state to state. No such requirement here. Just draw up the papers, sign them and serve. No judicial involvement at that stage here.
lostsunsets Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I'm proud of you ragnar. Well that's the second baby with second man. And while she was married. She is a skank.

Dexter Morgan Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 as the "better" person and now an enlightened man, i expect you to fight for custody of your soon to be 3 year old daughter, right? It would be a futile attempt if she wants custody. Unfortunately, infidelity doesn't come into play with regards to custody, divorce, etc. A father will ALWAYS lose if the mother wants custody and is a "fit" mother. being a s!ut doesn't deem a mother unfit.

Well, in that case, all husbands who are about to divorce must never even try to gain custody of their children as it is a "futile attempt".! BTW, Dexter, do you use language like that in real life or only on the net? and did you kick your SO out already for making "THAT" comment? you know the one that made you feel she is "settling" for you.
Dexter Morgan Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Well, in that case, all husbands who are about to divorce must never even try to gain custody of their children as it is a "futile attempt".! It is a futile attempt unless you can prove the mother is unfit. So unless she is a drug addict, physically abuses her children, or you can prove her income comes from nocturnal activities, yes, its futile. Unless you have a HUGE case against the mother, all a man will be doing is wasting time and money on both sides and that doesn't do the children any good. BTW, Dexter, do you use language like that in real life or only on the net? when the situation calls for it yes. and did you kick your SO out already for making "THAT" comment? you know the one that made you feel she is "settling" for you. Not yet;). But no need to kick out since we have our own places. It'll be all too easy if things go south.
