He picked me up at the subway station one night in the summer. I was in his car, it was raining, pouring at some point. We were on the highway. He was driving. Rain continued to pour. I turned on the radio, he said he didn't want to listen. I was going to insist, but then I didn't want him to fight me for control of the radio...he was driving in pouring rain, after all. Then, he seemed like he just remembered something. He put in a CD. It was Lil' Wayne's Carter III CD. I had been listening to Lil' Wayne that summer, while studying for my supplementary exams. He knew this. I told him I had a huge crush on him and that I loved his CD (that I had favourited his songs on YouTube and that I even dance to it). So what does he do? He burns it for me. That was a nice feeling...sitting in his car, with the rain pouring, driving down the highway, with the music blaring. I loved it. What I loved even more was his thoughtfulness. My fiance is a total alpha-type. That he remembered the music I like and took the to gather the music from that particular album and burn it, of his own accord, was mucho sweet. It puts a smile on my face, thinking about that gesture. And yes, I am aware of the possible copyright infringement issues.

Bingeing on pizza after losing 3 pounds. Purchasing a nice pair of jeans or shirt on sale. Finding out I still have some money left on my atm.

The memory of my daily trip to the piazza where the Trevi Fountain is located to the world's best gelato shop. The first sip of champagne. My little dog's squeals and dancing butt from excitement when I come home. Hearing my favorite song on the radio.

kdark Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 I was beaming a couple weeks ago on a saturday night when I decided to say screw going out drinking with my friends, went over to my mom and step dads house, and watched the entire second season of Dexter with them. Ignored all the calls i received from my friends. Best Saturday night I've had in years.

I laughed today.. a friend and I were coming back to our building after our walk (lunchtime).. a great looking guy was holding the door for us.. but we weren't decided if we wanted to go in or keep walking.. while we were talking about it.. he was standing there.. still holding the door and smiling (like saying.. 'for how long am I suppose to hold the door' . We finally got in... we laughed.. and the guy also laughed.. it was a cute moment..

Its hilarious that its a doggy trait the world over and nobody knows why they love it so much. This weekend I am seeing 6 of my closest friends, and 3 of them are also pregnant, so it will be nice to swap stories, compare bumps and reminisce about the days when we used to go out for dinner and get trashed. At least this time I won't feel guilty for having dessert, which will also make me Another thing that makes me so much is when my H and I do silly dancing in the kitchen.

He's also got this other, wicked little smile where I know he's up to no good!

I have been unbelievably ill the past few days so It hard to find anything to be upbeat about but I did make some cookies..... MMmmmmm The smell reminds me of when my mom used to make em when I was a kid.... Meeeemoriessss!!!

Do it once; you'll know why dogs love it! Oddly enough, that's the thing that brings the (2nd) biggest smile to my face. There's no rush like blasting down the road at *mumblemumble* miles an hour with your Brothers right next to you.
