ohwhyme Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Okay so its been a year, lots of stuff has been happening. I've unblocked her from instant messaging etc. I realize the more you ignore them the more they just try to get your attention. Once you think your over them, you get a dream that puts screws up all progress and then comes crap that reminds you of them all over again. They make up stuff just to get you to write to them but I decided to say happy bday just to be nice and now she starts texting me and writing to me saying that she really wants to talk to me. I've been through this road before and it lead to nothing. So whats the deal? Can they not take a hint? Do I really have to be an ******* for her to stop talking to me?

Your actions and words conflict. You unblocked her from MSN, then sent her a happy b-day text... That's not a hint to stay away- it's a clear sign that your door is still open. If you want her to stop talking to you, why did you unblock her and send her a text. Block her again, stop sending her mixed signals and she'll probaby go away again.
Ronni_W Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 You unblocked her from IM and sent her a happy b/day message -- what "hint" are you sending for her to NOT contact you? You're acting all friendly, trying to be "nice", so she is reciprocating, trying to be "nice", too. I really wouldn't think you'd need to act like an ******* for her to stop talking to you...just stop talking to her already!
Author ohwhyme Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 woops lol what i meant was that I unblocked a while ago, I don't really care if shes online anymore. I deleted my facebook and I rarely go online. I decided it doesnt help blocking her anyway since I can still see her online. Decided to just move away from the computer instead. I sent her an email just to say happy birthday and that was it. Shes overseas and now started to send text msgs and shes been trying to talk to me for months now even before i emailed her. Emailing her was probably the only time I wrote back...
yellowgreenlight Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 guys just dont understand... ignoring is NOT the solution!!! if you're not into her, do her a favor...and TELL her that. no one wants to get hurt, but dragging out the process and hoping that she'll just "move on" is not going to work...trust me. you dont have to be an ***hole, just be honest.
