How much communication is too much and what are your reasons for not wanting to communicate with a boyfriend or gilrfriend everyday?

What would be your reasons for not always replying to a message or call and would it annoy you if a partner txt or called you everyday?

I really would appreciate your help and opinions on this.

Thank you.

morning. :)

Communication needs vary from couple to couple.

When I was just dating my partner..we would text every day..even just a good morning or good night..and he would call a couple of times a week..as things progressed..the calls became more frequent..maybe 5 times a week...now we live together..he calls everyday..if not twice a day..to just tell me something inane..or to give me a proud story of the puppy, or an angry story of the puppy..or just randomness...sometimes we just call each other to yell our catch phrase down the phone and hang up..god we're mature..NOT!!

But it varies...thats just what we do..other are totally different..a friend of mine gets upset if a guy shes dating doesn't call numerous times a day from day one..other friends like to save a call up so thay have lots to talk about.

Depends . :)

It's hard to say I have the same question. Me and my bf do not talk everyday, but I am ok with it. I don't need to talk to him every day, but every other day is ok. Someone told me you should talk every morning and evening. For me it's not necessary, but I then wonder is something wrong? With communication I feel as if I really have to think and control my emotions at times or I can get carried away. I'd like to hear other opinions!
