Mandapanda Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 i can't decide on baby names. I have narrowed it down to these below, someone please help me!!!! Boy- Aiden Dean Ash Dean Cole Dean Girl- Taylor Nicole (which is cool because her initals would be TNT) Charlie Marie Dylan Marie i love boy names for girls, so if anyone else has any suggestions I am open. but please try to decide between the ones I have choosen, the only suggestions I want is boy names for girls. Thank you
Green Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Taylor was my fav of the girls names and I didn't like any of the boy names you have picked out.
spookie Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I don't like Dean as the middle name in combo with those first names for the boys. I like Dylan for a girl. How about Ash for a girl? Ash Marie... maybe that's too hippie, or boyish.
boldjack Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I really, really hate naming girls with boys names Charlie?? Jesus, why not name her Bert or Al or Gomer. Can't women ever get past fads? How about being an individual and pick a name that means something personal to you and your so? Women are such suckers for fads and cutsy ****.
boldjack Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Besides, If you have a boy and you name him Aiden, Ash or Cole, he is going to get the **** beat out of him by boys named Bob or Ed or Hank.
Meaplus3 Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I love the name Aiden, The last of my 3 almost came home with that name. As for a girl.. well Taylor is cute. I also love the name Ava. Have fun. Mea:)
Author Mandapanda Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 Well, I have decided to go with 'Aiden' I haven't picked out the middle name yet, although I really was set on Dean, it doesn't fit very well (any suggestions would be awesome) and for the girl I'm really torn between Dylan and Taylor. Alot of people do not like Dylan, but I think it's lovely. I like the fact that Dylan isn't a very common name. Even being used as a boy. I like Taylor because it sounds 'sweet' and it's also a unisex name. Thank you all, the ones that were nice
quankanne Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 one of my HS classmates named her little girl Dane, which I think is a lovely name for either boy or girl. however, among the list of boy names you've shared, I think Aiden is the best because it's unique, it looks beautiful spelled out and it falls lightly from the tongue (lyrical, if you will). Jury's still out on the Dean name, it just sounds kind of odd with the names you listed, but that's just me. I think when your little one arrives, you'll take one look at him/her and know exactly what to call him/her! at the risk of sounding dumb, are pregnant right now? Or are you just trying out names for now?
Lizzie60 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I would like Aiden... for the boy for the girl.. I would pick Marie-Charles.. (French, I know).. or simply.. Charlie

I am trying to get pregnant, I was on the depo shot for a while and it is making it very hard. I wish i knew when I got on it, what I know now. I'm trying not to get too excited, because apparently the chances of getting pregnant after depo are very slim. but I can't help it lol my husband is not liking the thought of me picking out names, because it makes it more 'real' he says. But, I'm estatic!
boldjack Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Aiden is for sissys. Name one MAN of character named Aiden. Why do women want to feminize their boy children and make their girl children sound butch? Remember these kids will have these crappy names for the rest of their lives. Give them something to live up to, not be embarassed by.
Lishy Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Uh? You are not even pregnant? You sounded like you just had the baby and was desperate to pick the name!
lovestory5 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I have read in the newspaper one article. It was about popular names now. For example, Gwinnet Petrow named her daughter Apple. John Travolta named his son Jet. In Ukraine also it is very popular to give the interesting name to the child. For example, last year there were such names like Darwin, Timer, Space, and Server. And as for the girls such names were given as Princess, Atlántida, Cherry, and Cinderella. In Spain in 2008 there will be the first, in the history of the world, event with the unusual names. The guests with such names are going to come. They are “Two kilos of rice”, “Silver Dollar”, “Potato”, Laryngitis, and Appendicitis. : )
quankanne Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009  naw, baby's name would have to be done in text speak, as in 2KRice ... $'lva $ ... and so forth Aiden Kane ... that is a wonderfully strong name, written and spoken, thumbs up from Quank. good luck with getting knocked up, but most of all, have as much fun/enjoyment as you can with teh process – I've read (and heard) so many stories about how the mechanics of fertilizations hurts the relationship because it becomes less about a pleasurable act and more like work. So keep up the romance, missy. however, my best friend assures me that the sure-fire way to get pregnant is to give up trying, build that new house, take a really expensive vacation or buy a boat, and once you're over your head in debt, you're pregnant
quankanne Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 oh! *smacks forehead* Forgot little 'Taters name!
missdependant Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 My dad suggested: Pick a name that YOU like, and also a name that your kid won't hold against you when they're a teenager. I like Ash Dean for a boy, personally because it sounds less common. Dylan Marie for a girl... I am pregnant also, naming mine Dylan (Brady) if it's a boy so I'm already kinda biased. ;-)~

These kids might get some unwanted attention from having a modern name, but adversity builds character I suppose. I'm sure it will be fine.
blind_otter Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 I would recommend that whatever name you chose, if you decide on a unique first name, give your child a "normal" middle name. That way they can always take refuge in their middle name if they are completely mortified by their first name. JMO, though. Take it with a grain of salt.
romango Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Sticking with your parameter: If it's a girl you should name her "Larry" If it's a boy you should name him "Linda" Cheers!
