scokop Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 So im 22 and im single at the moment. I have bn for about 8 to 9 months. I had a gf when i was in uni but i work now and i have a feeling i am gonna b single forever. I feel like im invisible to women. I have been told by women im good looking. But everytime a woman walks past me its like im not even there. I go to the gym i keep fit and i am a nice guy. It has brought my confidence down and everytime i want to talk to a nice girl i fear i will get rejected. Any advice.
Shnuggles Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Yep, the "good guys" are out there. Hard to find however. Apparently I'm one of them but I dunno about that one. When you don't want children its pretty much impossible to keep a relationship no matter how good it is. I could have been married 3 times now if I did want kids. Anyway, now at 32 I have pretty much given up. Advice? Stay clear of the club scene unless you just want a quicky. Better off picking up a guy at a supermarket or shopping mall. Meet guys through friends, parties and join clubs. Just my 2 cents though. GL

I don't quite understand your reply being geared towards picking up guys....
blondesmiler Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Being single for 8-9months is tough but try being almost 2yrs and being in your mid thirties. Your 22, get out, enjoy life, make the most of yourself if you feel you need to, so new clothes, get a new haircut, get some new hobbies (meetup.com), go to an evening class, find another focus - to help you feel reborn. And to help build your people skills up and raise your confidence. At 22 you should be focusing on having as much fun as possible. As far as the rejection goes, yes I understand how you feel about this, all I can say is perhaps get a book or do an online course to raise your self esteem and conquer your fear of this.
