Hey all

I'm looking to try and get some feedback here on my problem. It's my first time posting and I'm gonna try to make it as short as possible :)

Okay well, to start it all off, this is my first year starting in high school. Since the start of school, (September) I met up with this girl who just moved here. We talked a lot and it felt like there was an honest connection between us both. At least, from what i thought.

So on a mid-October afternoon after school, I decided that it would be a good time to try and see if this girl wanted to have something beyond our friendship. I'm not exactly a slow type of guy so her response to my question of, if she wanted to go out with me, was a no.

It wasn't so much that it was a blatant "no i will not go out with you" but more like a "I'm not really looking for a boyfriend right now, sorry".

So we remained friends but everything was a little too awkward with it all. She ended up getting switched out of the only class that we both have so we just grew apart. Up until just 2 months ago when we started to say hi whenever we saw each other. But nothing more than just that.

To make this as short as i can, we both were sitting right next to each other during the state test that we both had to take, and we started to pick things up from where they were. She seems a lot more happier that we both are talking more than we were in September. To give an example, every time she sees me in the hallway, shes wearing this smile thats so big that it brightens my day.

My 2 questions to everyone is the following:

Is she starting to like me as more than a friend or is she just being really friendly?

I'm kinda looking to ask her out again but there is only 4 months left in the school year and once school lets out for the summer, we won't see each other until school starts again and i don't want her to never know how i feel about her.

so my other question is, is it worth asking her out again if it means risking our friendship? Should i just tell her that i like her and see what she has to say?

terribly sorry that its so long and thank you if your still reading

Thanks for your support :)

Listen : You have been Friendzoned. She already told you before she was not looking for a relationship with You.

If you do the asking again , she is going to get frustrated and feel uncomfortable again.

I could be wrong and she digs you alot but I am going by most actions she has displayed thus far.

Right, But don't fool yourself in waiting......... Make sure you DATE others.

Never do this because you hope she will * come around * She won't .

Yeah its really confusing now. Me and her were talking after school earlier today and when the question that i asked her "What night do you want to see the play?" her response was "Oh my dad told me that he would 'think about it'". (She did sound kinda sad to say that btw). Apparently, her dad sees this little friendly outing as something more than that..?

I'm gonna reach some answer by the end of school tomorrow so I hope that we do end up going... Can't say that the odds are in my favor, though .
