Hey guys,

If you had a heavy project on at work, or really big exams, are you likely to focus on them completely in the immediate term, and be less likely to call the new girl you're dating until all of the exam/work stuff is dealt with? Or would you get in touch regardless?

My new guy seems to have gone quiet since last weekend, but he has had 2 huge professional exams this week, and he thinks he's failed the 1st one (he told me this when I sent a 'how'd it go' message)-the 2nd is tomorrow, then he finds out friday if he has passed (if not, he retakes it/them next week). They're a huge deal as they relate to his new job and I guess there'll be trouble if he doesnt pass....just wondering if I should write him off for the next few days!

He's under a huge amount of pressure so give him some space and time to study. Doesn't stop you from sending a good luck for your exam text and suggesting meeting for an end of exam celebration though.

my new guy is in the army and has a lot of tests to take befor he deployes, so i just let him contact me and send him texts to make him feel supported. i think you could just send him thoes kinds of texts or e-mails and that will be sufficent. so to answer your q. yes write him off for the next week :) even though u probablly wanna talk to him 24/7 [ well i know i wanna talk to my bf 24/7 lol]

It just depends on so many variables.

I would really appreciate a woman who could understand that I was busy and give me a break, but I might still try and make time to call her when I could. Everyone is different, though. I'm a guy who likes to talk to his gf at least once a day, even if its for 2 minutes. Im also single, so maybe thats my problem haha

If hes responding to your texts, and he said he was busy right now, I wouldnt worry too much. Keep doing what youre doing, and when hes not so busy, he'll really apprecaite it.
