Husband talking to his ex, behind my back

i know for a fact my husband is talking to his ex behind my back. i saw the messages. although i do not see waht he writes in return. i see her side. the last one was 'i was intrigued when i didn't hear back from you..' 'we always had such a great mental connection and attractiveness' i'll always be attracted to you'

 

WTF?

 

in his defense i haven't seen a single response. maybe he has maybe he hasn't? i have a feeling he doesn't think 'ts a big deal and is going to handle it but i also wonder why is he hding this? cause he knows i'll freak out?? saving me the pain when there isn't anythign?

 

i don't know what to do...

When you say messages, do you mean text messages? Email messages?

 

If you can see hers, you should be able to see his, unless he is either not responding, or he is deleting what he is saying to her. Which would be kind of weird, looks like he would delete what she has said too, but you never know...maybe he wants it to look like its all her...and maybe it is.

Look:

The more subterfuge, hiding, deceit and lying that takes place the worse it will get.

You'll become more and more suspicious, less and less trusting, and this will cleave you apart like an axe.

 

I'm afraid at one point (make it sooner rather than later) you're going to have to come clean and tell him you know about her messages, and that this one in particular has your attention. because obviously, he has been in touch with her - hence the "I was intrigued when I didn't hear back from you"... That would imply contact recent to her message.

 

The more you hide things from one another, the worse it will get.

Openness in this case is impoetant.

he'll be mad at you for prying.

You'll be mad at him for concealing.

That makes you quits.

 

Now move on from there, and start sharing.
