i met someone for drinks and a bite to eat last night. i would say it went fairly well, and we talked for close to 3 hours. there was definitely some chemistry. when we left, i got the call me sometime to do something and hug routine and left the ball in my court. i guess it was kind of hard to say what that means, but all-in-all we at least seemed to enjoy each other's company.

now, i am currently unavailable to do anything today and thursday... which she knows due to some prior commitments. she is attending a wedding out of state this weekend.

i should also add we chatted back and forth for maybe a week before this meeting.

so really my question is when should i attempt to make contact with her and using what medium? it just seems there is not really a lot of room of when to call and it seems like we wouldn't be able to get together realistically until next week anyways.

If you're interested, then contact her now, to schedule a date for next week. If you're not sure, or if you want to play it cool, then wait until next week to contact her and schedule something more last-minute. Contacting sooner suggests more interest than waiting. A phone call suggests more interest than text/email/chat. So, how interested are you, and how interested do you want to appear? Did she seem interested or brushing you off? She's probably going to meet some guys this week-end... do you want to already be on her calendar when she meets them?
