shadowplay Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 It's a miracle... I haven't had female friends in 7 years, since I was 18. Right now they're in that grey area between acquaintances and friends, but moving in the direction of friends. I honestly thought I would never again have any female friends because I'm so terrible at making them. The funny thing is I didn't even try. In fact I had been keeping to myself and just focusing on my schoolwork. Two girls happen to be in a few of my classes and we started talking one day. I really didn't think it could be this natural. I always force things. I hope they turn into real friendships. That would be awesome. But even if they don't, it's encouraging.
Star Gazer Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 That's great, Shadow. Whatever you do, do not date their boyfriends or ex-boyfriends, and if you know they're interested in someone, they're hands off as well.
crosswordfiend Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I really didn't think it could be this natural. I always force things. Whether or not these acquaintances develop into real friendships, I believe the above statement is the most important learning here. Good stuff!
Trialbyfire Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Relax and enjoy it, shadow. That's the way to do it, let it happen naturally!
