Author Khabarak Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 I have a few too many replies now to respond to everyone individually, so instead I'm just going to say: Thanks everyone! I really appreciate your input! I am a smart guy, and I do have a quick mind. I have a lot to offer. That I am confident about, but it doesn't hurt to hear other people tell me that I'm not bad looking. That extra reassurance can help me be a more confident person. To those of you who mentioned my clothes. I would actually like to buy some new clothes, but (nice) clothes are expensive! Don't get me wrong, I do have money, but right now I feel it is more important to save it than to spend it on new clothes. Why? Because if I keep saving at the rate I am now, I'll be debt free with enough cash for a down payment on a descent house by the time I graduate from college. Granted clothes wouldn't cost THAT much, but every extra dollar counts. And as far as my hair, well.. I'd love to make a change there. My hair gets really greasy though, and its thick... every time I've tried to grow it longer, I end up cutting it short again because of the annoyance. That said, if anyone has suggestions for styles, I'm open to them. Thanks again everyone!
Author Khabarak Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 To CollegeKid491, Just because I would like other people's opinions does not mean I have zero confidence. It means I value another person's opinion. I'm not judging myself solely by what other people think, but it is nice to know. Also, I am very confident in what I have to offer. Everyone I know thinks highly of me, but I never get any input about my looks. I was simply asking a question. Of course, all of what I said is really beside the point... it would be sufficient to say: Just because I (or anyone, for that matter) question my attractiveness enough to ask for the opinion of others doesn't mean I'm completely void of confidence.

Apparently you found my message offensive... but its true. If you want a new look, just say that, but it sounded to me like you were basing more on it then really should be. And if you question your attractiveness it implies doubt, confidence=/=doubt. Not to say you don't have confidence, but you don't have confidence in your 'look'. Maybe I take for granted the fact I'm surrounded by constant input and criticism of my looks, I guess others may not have this input as much.
SoulSearch_CO Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I was a little afraid to open the picture because I didn't want to have to gently tell someone that he's a dog. Surely, somebody that asks "Am I attractive?" must be a little homely. HELLO - so not the case. I think you're very attractive. I'd give you a shot. I agree that you don't have the macho a-hole look that some girls go for - but I don't really like that type as they have the attitude to match. Buck up your confidence and you'd do outstanding.
Green Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I do a similar thread every once in a while when I wonder what people think of all my chest hair! Any ways I'm a straight man but in my opinion you could be more conventionally and socialy good looking then me. So if your better looking the men posibly and I have no problem getting the womem I want (currently have a gf) then you should have no prob either
fishtaco Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 It doesn't count unless you have pervy guys leering at you.
Trialbyfire Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 OP, within your thread, you've had 11 female members respond, of which all 11 have said you're attractive. The balance 9 have been males of which many have said that you're attractive. Sounds to me like you have nothing to worry about.
Sam Spade Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I'd hit it (if I was a girl). Get rid of the sweatshirt and the artificially distressed jeans, however. (Not a good look at any age.)
Citizen Erased Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I'd hit it (if I was a girl). Get rid of the sweatshirt and the artificially distressed jeans, however. (Not a good look at any age.) I think it's cute.

Lol Thanks for the compliment, and yes... you are correct. I do go to MSU.
Island Girl Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 You are a really cute guy. And you will be even better in your 30's - that kind of face and structure. When you mature further you really are going to be quite a catch. Use that brain to move ahead in your life and you'll be in position, when you want to, to pretty much have your pick of women.
sporadic_moods Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Khabarak, First, I'm sorry for posting this here, but the private messages aren't working for me. I don't know your situation, but I'm recently single and venturing into the "dating world" again... I'd like to make new friends more than anything... I thought maybe we could chat since surprisingly, we're from the same place? I'm 23 and a Dietetics major at MSU.... .I'm not a downtown/bar type person so I find it hard to meet new people.....on my space dot com, slash this username (trying to say it in a way that won't be edited) if you'd like to talk :-)
pinkie_fille Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Personally, I think you look good. If you ask me out, I will say 'yes'
