385 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Ok, let's just say I'm pretty inexperienced at dating... So, there's this girl I like and I am thinking about asking her out to see a movie. This will be our second date - the first date I asked her to grab lunch with me at a casual place. I'm planning on taking her to the movies at around 7 at night or so - so this date will be more serious than the lunch date I had with her. I know there really isn't a 'set' rule as to when things should happen - but I'd much appreciate it if you guys would tell me what has happened in your past and what I should do. 1) I know this sounds lame and it's kinda a joke amongst girls - but should I put my arm around her during the movie? 2) During/after the movie, should I go in for a kiss? I mean I don't want to impose myself onto her, but then again, I want to show her I like her. What should I do? Any tips/suggestions? Thanks
ruggy Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 One. How old are you? Two. The arm around her thing is lame. Skip it.
SoulSearch_CO Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Pink stole my answer - hold hands is much better. But I also wonder how old you two are. As for the kiss - I have no idea because nobody here can figure out her level of attraction to you better than you. And you haven't given us any inkling of a hint as to how she feels about you (like how she talks to you, does she ever touch you, how does she look at you, have her friends/mutual acquaintances said anything to you).
