I don't normally have a problem with starting the conversation, but after I let her know that I’m into her, I draw a blank. I'm not the guy that uses a lot lines, I’m more of a direct and to the point kind of guy. Which cuts the talking down some right their.

I've seen some other posts that where similar and they said to ask lots of questions about her.(hobbies, music, favorite movies, actors, food, books, cars, best friends, family, job, career goals, high school or college days/memories, trips to laces/landmarks/states/countries... etc)

I would think that if I went up to a girl and started interrogating her about everything that it would get awkward for her. That she would think of me as more of a weird stalker type than just a guy that liked her. I mean if someone who I don't know or have never even seen before came up to me at a bar/club asking me 100 questions I would feel uncomfortable.

Now I could just be over thinking this (I do that with a lot of things) but any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

You don't need a 45 minute convo to ask for the #. She knows in a minute if she wants to date you so be short and sweet and save the talking for the date.
