Hey guys, im looking for a good Pro-Father Divorce Lawyer in N. Atlanta Ga.

Wife is really starting to turn ugly, Seems that i have begun moving on and now she is pissed. Saying taking my son out for doing well in school and stuff that i am only using him to get at her. Which is totally not the case, i have done this for years, Reward for good behavior. Anyways she is still screamming about money,

Currenty i have bought him new cloths, Paid for his lunchs, paid his child care, Both their insurances.

We orginally agreed i would handle all his expenses (which i have done), Now she is under the presure of bills and trying to live her lifestyle. She actually complained she has to buy cheap makeup. It went from 50-50 legal and physical custody, now she wants join with her being primary custodian so she can get more child support. The only problem i have with paying her child support is that she will buy her junk first, i know her well enough.

Anyways if anyone could recommend a very good lawyer around here that is for fathers i would be very greatful.

Even on her nights i get to baby sitters at 5 and he comes to my house untill she gets off.

A fellow Georgian! I'm sorry to hear about your divorce turning ugly Alan. Did you ask her about the grass not really being greener on the other side?. Sounds like she's finding that out for herself real quick.

Sorry, I don't know any good attorneys, or I'd tell you for sure. Hope it gets better for you.

no lawyer suggestions, as I'm from a whole 'nother state, BUT ... document, document, document. if your child is in an after-school care facility, see if that the place keeps sign in sheets for when parent drops off or picks up – I remember having to do that with my two nephews when they were smaller, and I was on the approved list! My thought is that if you can establish a pattern of late pick-up or odd hours that he's in the facility, it might help show that she'd be better off remaining in a joint-custody situation. Or something like that.

if you're going be paying child support, is there any way you can request the court approve a detailed list of expenses to help give you a better idea how to provide for your son? We had to do that with my dad when he moved in with us back in August and my sister (his legal POA) was dealing with his expenses, and it was a good system of checks and balances. I'm sure your wife will kvetch at the idea, but it's for her protection as well as your son's AND yours.
