Trialbyfire Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I was reading another thread about "playing hard to get" and wondered what members considered "hard to get". Does this mean: Turns down your date request some of the time.Won't pursue a man.Won't enter a relationship with you.Won't sleep with you in the first few dates.Other.
moman Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Hard to get = low interest level I've found that when girls say I'm hard to get it's because I'm just not interested, which makes me do things such as: - not return phone calls - refuse to go out on dates - decline invitations to events and then the women step up the phone calls and efforts until they give up. It's not that I'm hard to get, it's that I'm not interested. I've found the reverse is true when I'm chasing a woman who seems "hard to get". Someone who is interested will agree to dates, return calls, etc.
Isolde Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Hard to get can also be a game, as I said in the other thread. There is a significant minority of women that still play by the Rules. They might do this precisely because they are so interested, they are petrified of being themselves.

Understood but what are they doing that constitutes "hard to get"?
