andreautick Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 There is this gentlemanly, beautiful man that I see occassionally. I saw him around for awhile, and I'd smile and say hi because I live in the same dorm and I've seen him there when I work the desk (I'm a Resident Assistant in the dorm). One day, he came up to the desk and I said "Can I help you at all?" and he said "I see you around all the time and I never know what to say because I don't know your name. What is your name?" and he introduced himself and we shook hands. We've smiled and said hi a few more times, and the last time he had the chance, he stepped aside to talk to me in a busy hallway, asking me very good questions and acting interested in all that I was saying--our conversation was short because I had to go to class. He always gives me a big smile and a hello, or if I'm in an outdoor class and he sees me, he waves and smiles I don't see this man a lot and we've only talked a few times...but does he seem interested from these descriptions of our few encounters? I've developed a little crush...and I don't want to be irrational or unrealistic about his signals.
subtitled Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 sounds like the sort of thing i'd get myself tangled in.... erm... well, i guess just try and keep talking to him, and when you do, continue to appear interested. Find out what he's into and work around that, see what you have in common. If you get more vibes that he's into you, then you can either wait til he makes a move, or you could ask him to get a coffee or something if you're confident enough. whatever you choose - good luck
Clancy Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 He sounds like he is definitely noticing you. Chances are he likes you too. But chances are also that while he's good socially, he's not so good at picking up women so you might have to be a little bit agressive to nudge him in the right direction. Good luck.
